On-Call Relief Madison and Morgan County. Position on-call as needed mostly 2nd and 3rd shift and weekends. Oversees of operations of domestic violence shelter. Take appropriate action of the safety, security, and well being of shelter residents. Respond to all emergencies, such as call to police and ambulance. Answers shelter phones and doors. Handle minor disputes and problems of residents as they relate to shelter living. Conduct intakes, assign spaces, perform shelter orientation, supplies physical needs and conducts discharges. Maintains, complies and files reports as assigned. Interact with clients on individual basis. Rate of pay: $7.25 per hour. Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required, prefer two years college with some experience in related work.
