HELPline Holiday Gift Wrap

We could sure use your help! HELPline answers over 30,000 calls each year and our volunteers make a real difference in people’s lives. Fund-raisers like the Turkey Trot and our Holiday Gift-wrap Project make it possible. Gift-wrap is HELPline’s largest fund-raiser and would not be possible without you, the volunteers, who make this event fun and successful. If you're interested in volunteering to wrap gifts, or if you know of a group that would like to help, please call 716-4052.

Crisis Services, a United Way Agency, is a non-profit corporation governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Crisis Services offers the following programs: intervention and recovery from traumatic events, rape and sexual assault counseling and emotional support, legal advocacy for people in abusive relationships, and shelters for victims of domestic violence. These programs are interwoven in a seamless network of professional and caring support on a 24-hour basis.

Gift Wrap begins Dec. 7th this year and runs through Dec.24th, at Madison Square Mall and Parkway Place Mall. Gift wrap booths will be located near Sears and near Belk's at Madison Square and on the upper level near Belk's at Parkway Place. We normally work in four-hour shifts, 10-2, 2-6, and 6-10, seven days of the week. However, sometimes there are open shifts of less than four (4) hours. Please volunteer; we will work with your schedule as much as possible.
